Can we call Third-party devices OIDs from Cisco Prime 3.9. If yes, then how to do it?

I have third party devices which I want to monitor/manage them through cisco prime infrastructure (CPI) 3.9. I will ask the vendors to send me the MIB file but what should be the extension of a MIB file so it will be compatible with CPI 3.9.
