Like the title says, I have two UCS C220 M4S servers and they only have a single PSU installed in each chassis. If I purchase a secondary identical PSU, do the firmware versions need to match? Or can I just hot-install them and call it a day?

Don't usually see customers go out of way to run HUU just for syncing up the PSU firmware. This scenario also shows up when a PSU is replaced via RMA.
Next time you do an upgrade with the HUU, it should take care of the PSU firmware though.
