L2 device not broadcasting in SD Access enabled switches

Hi,

So we have recently deployed DNA center in our network and are facing some L2 Multicast/Broadcast issue.

We have Background music Transmitters and Amplifiers connected to our switches. Now the Amplifiers/speakers connected on the same switch as Transmitter are working fine but Amplifiers/Speakers on other switches are not working for some reason, we have enabled L2 flooding for this specific vlan from DNA center but still no luck,

Can someone please advice.

hi

did u enable multicast in underlay as mentioned in note to L2 flooding?

Note

Layer 2 flooding requires underlay multicast, which is configured during LAN automation. If you do not provision the underlay through LAN automation, configure underlay multicast manually.

This is the command to do right, ip pim rp-address

And this commands needs to run on all switches right?

it's not enough. actually SD-Access has MC-deployment workflow which promise is automation of needed configuration on overlay (not sure about underlay though - never deployed MC in sd-access previously)

take a look here for better assistance (1st URL provide hints for diagnosis via CLI, also notice PDF at the end of article - it gives more details on the config in both underlay & overlay):
Cisco SD-Access Multicast - Cisco Community
PowerPoint Presentation (vulcan-video.s3.amazonaws.com)
if after deployment your verifications of MC-states in overlay & underlay on FEs & RP (maybe SSM in overlay will be more suitable for your app thus allowing u to skip RP-definition step) deviates from expected output u will need to fix stuff manually via day-N Network templates.
