Issue with user voicemail

We have a user where calls to the directory number results in the following message "Hello, Cisco Unity Connection message system. From a touchtone telephone you may dial an extension at any time."

When comparing her phone configurations in CUCM to another users, they seem close to identical other than in designations like name and phone number. Any ideas?

 

I tried using the dialed number analyzer however that leads to my second issue: Our organization's admin left suddenly and I don't have permissions to access the DNA. Where would I go to check access settings?

It sounds like there is no voicemail account created for the user. Have you checked in Unity Connection that there is a user created with the extension of the directory number?

Hm, I looked on our server environment and yes, there does seem to be a CUC server

 

Unfortunately the admin left abruptly. Is there any instructions of how to recover admin credentials if you have access to the virtual machine hosting the server?

That there is a CUC server was not really what I wrote or asked. I asked if there is a user account in CUC that has an extension to match the directory number that the person has in CM?

Yes, I understand our correspondence. I cannot check any of that because I just discovered the existence of our VM server and gui which I have no access to.

To answer the second part of your question about permissions: If you are to take over the administration of the system you will want your account to have the "Standard CCM Super Users" access control group. That gives you global access including DNA.

If you would like to have access to the DNA, but are not supposed to be a Super User, there is a Role for accessing the DNA application that you can add to an access control group. Or, that role is already added to the Standard CCM Read Only access control group. That gives you read access to CUCM (including DNA), but not Super User access.

Yes I saw this as a solution but then it started going on about how the subscriber and publisher need to match and that made me hesitant as I have no training on this system nor does anyone else in our organization. I do not wish to break and have to spend another several hours fixing it. Anyways I will slog through the documentation. TYVM
