Trouble accessing codes

I unfortunately cannot log into my Instagram account anymore. It asks me for a code however, the app doesn’t give me a code or direct me to the app to receive a code. I don’t know what to do and I have been trying to fix it for 2 days but no luck. I do not have access to the backup codes either. I thought I screenshoted them but they’re not there.

If you don’t have the recovery codes, you will likely need to reach out to Instagram for help. More details are in the post above though, so be sure to check it out.
