UCCX OS and SQL licenses

Hi there,

can some one explain the OS and SQL licenses required for UCCX 11.5?

1 - am i need to purchase windows server 2016 licenses? or are they include in OVA

2 - am i need to purchase MS SQL licenses?

UCCX runs on RHEL with IBM Inforimix database embedded. You do not need Microsoft licensing unless you’re performing an ODBC database connection from the IVR to an external MS SQL server. In that case you would need the appropriate CALs.

Yes, that product runs on Windows and SQL. Additional detail is in the product documentation:

PS- Consider using the Calabrio hosted version instead of WFO-QM. It’s a newer version of the same software and avoids the SQL licensing since it’s hosted by them.
