Dear Experts,
I have one request user wants to take the calls from home. We tried to setup CIPC however, somehow they are unable to isntall CIPC. I had then suggested Jabber which they agreed however, I am getting the following error when the user tried to login. "Cannot communicate with the server" or "Username not registered or Unspecified user".
Please note we don't have IM&P and no SVR's. We want Jabber to work as phone.
I have configured the Jabber using advaced settings and gave Call manger/TFTP IP address in Cisco IP communications Manager 9.
Then we are logging using the User@ipaddress, finally user ID and password.
I have attached the PRT logs.
Could you suggest me any fix or some idea why it is not working.

Hello,
Reading your issue seems you are using VPN.
Please check from user PC you are able to ping CUCM IP address or not.
Also hope you are configured CSF device for this user and associated it with end user profile with proper end user roles.
Not seeing the PRT logs attached.

Thanks for the response. Yes we are using VPN and the CUCM/TFTP IP address is reachable. Yes CSF is configured properly and assigned to enduser with proper roles.
