Hi Community,

Question about possibility to copy a file between two ASR devices - is it supported? If so then lets say i have a file asr-new-software.tar on harddisk: and now how the scp line should look like?

When I try the below one it does not seem to work:

scp username@deviceip:/harddisk:/asr-new-software.tar harddisk:

Regards.

Works for me, do you need to specify a VRF? Does it connect to the remote host at all or does it not copy the file? Note if you specify harddisk: only as the destination it will take the name of the source file.

RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:ASR9904-D#scp smilstea@172.18.87.102:/harddisk:/volt_cont harddisk:/volt_cont2 vrf calo-mgmt

Connecting to 172.18.87.102...

RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:ASR9904-D#dir harddisk: | i volt_cont

For example if I remove vrf it hangs here:

RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:ASR9904-D#scp smilstea@172.18.87.102:/harddisk:/volt_cont harddisk:
Fri Mar 13 18:45:55.315 EDT
Connecting to 172.18.87.102...

If I add the VRF back it copies the file with the source files name to harddisk:

Can you verify connectivity with SSH and correct VRF?
