C220 M5 - Enabling mLOM 1457 and embedded Dual 1/10GE Ports

Recently purchased 2 x C220 M5SX servers that will be used in our DMZ.

I am using the mLOM card - Cisco UCS VIC 1457 - to direct connect to the fabric interconnects.

The direct connect is used for UCS server management and data connections to the internal network.
I would like to use the embedded Dual 1/10GE ports (LAN1 and LAN2) for data connections to the private network.

I am not able to figure out how to "see" those ports.

Is it possible to use both the embedded ports and VIC at the same time?

Those are auto disabled by default when the UCSM is integrated, and using UCSM direct/single wire mgmt.  It would cause issues if they were enabled, as UCSM would think you were doing dual wire mgmt connect.

You can use NICs that are not UCSM managed, but they would need to be an add-in PCI-E card, and not the systemboard LOM ports.
