I need to clarify if my Switch sg220-26 has POE ports

I need to clarify if my Switch sg220-26 has POE ports.

The documentation is confusing and I CANNOT see the POE Option for Port Management by entering as Switch Administrator.
Otherwise, it is possible to make this Switch POE by placing some external source or other device?

Thank you in advance

Hello @Translator ,

The SG220-26 doesn't have POE. Only the following models have POE:

802.3af PoE or 802.3at PoE+ delivered over any of the RJ-45 network ports within the listed power budgets

Switches support 802.3af, 802.3at, and Cisco pre-standard (legacy) PoE with maximum power of 30 W per port.

This applies to the following PoE-enabled models; the maximum number of ports providing PoE power simultaneously is determined by the total PoE budget for the switch listed as below:

Model Name

PoE Power Budget

Number of Ports That Support PoE

SF220-24P

180 W

24

SF220-48P

375 W

48

SG220-26P

180 W

24

SG220-28MP

375 W

24

SG220-50P

375 W

48

Hope this helps.

Regards, LG

Hello,

According to the datasheet, there are two SG220-26 models that do not support PoE and SG220-26P, which do support PoE

You can't convert the SG220-26 to a PoE computer due to hardware limitations, but what you can do is that depending on the PD (Power Devices) you're going to connect on these ports (e.g., IP Phone, Access Point, Camaras, etc.) you can use a Power Adapter or Power Injector and delegate power supply to these adapters and not to the switch.
