What is the harm in extending the Graceful-restart timer

What is the harm in extending the Graceful-restart time from the default 12 hours to 7 days or so?

You need to check the default timers are 12hours and re-keys are 24hours, so if you increase to restart 7days, then that wont match with re-keys.

I understand that rekey must be at least twice the graceful-restart time.
If we want graceful-restart to be 7 days, then we can change the rekey setting accordingly.
I would simply like to know what the harm is in setting graceful-restart to a longer time. If there is no particular harm, would a longer time be better?
