SFP Ports not coming UP

Dear Team,

I have CBS350 24P 4g switch , switch firmware is latest ( 3.4.0.17 ) and there are 4 SFP ports are available and i used MGBLX1 module , when i tried module connect show logs as , 

11-Mar-2024 07:23:44 :%NSFP-I-SFPGibicDetected: gi28 SFP port is present, module type - 1000BASE-LX

but in show interface status link state showing down.

Dear Sir,

Yes , we have CBS350-24P-4G model and we have as per the matrix MGBLX1 module , and also firmware is latest .and there is no logs related to unsupported SFP module.

It would seem the SFP module you had does not support Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM).  The data sheet for the MGBLX1 modules does not indicate DOM support. 

 

 

Dear Team,

We have also try with Syrotech company module but still SFP port not getting up , link status showing down.

as for as i see your SFP GUI recognised that means SFP oh technically speaking,

the Port not coming - it all depends on what device connected.

You can also Loop the Fibre TX and RX see the port come up for testing.

what is other end ?

you did not mentioned what cable you using MM or SM ?
