PMC Access
Ever wonder how partners can receive access to PMC? Did you know that access to PMC is automatic based on a few requirements to other tools within Cisco? Yes, it’s that easy! PMC is not granted by Support Agents. Here’s what you need to gain PMC access:
• You must have a Cisco.com account
• Must be associated with a Partner Company in Cisco’s Partner Data Base (PDB) through Partner Self Service (PSS) tool
• Must have access to the Partner Access Online (PAL) tool
• Your company has been setup as an active participant in a Cisco Services program or you are set up as a 2-tier reseller or distributor in the PMC tool
• You need to have access to the Performance Metrics Central (PMC) tool
Note: If you are a new user to PMC, it may take up to 24 hours for your access to be granted.
Check the following:
Do you have a Cisco.com account? Login to www.cisco.com
Are you associated to your company? Check here www.cisco.com/go/getpartneraccess.
Do you have access to PAL? Check here http://tools.cisco.com/WWChannels/PAL/LoginPage.jsp
Access can be requested either on-line or by contacting your Cisco Channel Account Manager (CAM)
Once you have the above access requirements, you will automatically have access to login to PMC. It’s that simple! You can verify you have access by visiting www.cisco.com/go/pmc. Click on Launch PMC 2.0
Please note that if any of the above access is granted, it may take up to 48 hours to replicate within all tools. Please allow this time frame if you have recently requested access.
Check out the Power Point located on the PMC landing page at www.cisco.com/go/pmc under Access --> Partner / Distributor Access PPTX.
