We are finding that some router models are more susceptible to CRC increase/snr decrease than others and tend to lose sync more easily especially when it comes down to sudden spikes in crc indicative of REIN/SHINE issues.
Im trying to determine whether this could be difference in hardware e.g. cxxx range (on board modem) vs ir1101 (sfp adapter) the 1101 loses sync far more easily compared to a cxxx in exactly the same environment/test conditions.
Or is there an algorithm/set of rules within ios that says "Lose sync at 10000 crcs increments"/"Lose sync at sudden crc increase of 2000 increments"
