For Cisco WS-C9200L-24T-4G-E, a user tried to backup configuration from Web portal. But did wrongly that uploaded empty text file to the device.

That is:
Copy to device
tftp
aaa.txt (created from local computer)
startup-config

upload to device.

Now the startup-config is empty.

I'm not familiar with Cisco. Can we fix it by below command.

en
copy running-config startup-config

Please advise.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Now the startup-config is downloaded which is empty from device. The running-config is normal.
The user uploaded the file to device when he couldn't see download button before. (As picture)

* Now the running-config is correct **

The extension of file must not be .txt

Remove .txt and check again

You can absolutely fix this as you mentioned by issuing the command "copy running-config startup-config".

Ditto.

Do understand, though, your current running config might not exactly match the lost startup config.

Thank you all.

Someone told me that if not apply it won't affect it. But don't know if the user applied it or not.

Anyway, will try to restart it later. If not okay, then restore or re-configure it.
