Duo Mobile Account Recovery

Hello!

Is it possible to restore Duo Mobile account on a new phone if Duo Restore is already activated and the old phone is not accessible? Well, gratefully currently I don’t have any problem right now, just curious about that.

Hi @Ivan_Assidqi, great question! Thank you for being proactive and asking ahead of time before you are locked out, as it’s much easier to help you in this case. If you enabled Duo Restore on your previous device and that phone is no longer accessible, you should still be able to restore your accounts to the new device. If you are on an Android device, you will not be able to perform an Instant Restore without the old device. However, you can still recover your accounts with Duo Restore. For third party accounts, you will need the recovery password you set when you first enabled Duo Restore for Third-Party Accounts in order to restore those. You should not need your old device, however. I hope that answers your question! Let me know if you need anything else.
