Hi @manvik

If your WSAs are managed by your current SMA:

[1] you can install your new SMA , and import the configuration from one of the WSAs to SMA's CM.

[2] make sure you are on a compatible versions : Compatibility Matrix for Cisco Secure Email and Web Manager with Secure Web Appliance

Or if you are planning to import the configurations from SMA to SMA you should be on a same version

I Had the same issue and i have spinned up a virtual SMA with the same Asyncos version of old SMA and loaded the backup successfully and after that upgraded the SMA to required Asyncos version took only 40 mins to complete the whole activity.

Keep the license xml file in handy so that you can configure the SMA smoothly.

There are couple option what i did was :

1. install same SMA version and restore the backup and upgrade to latest version.

2. as suggested get configuration from WSA and configuration manager initialization, make sure new SMA able to reach WSA ( you need admin username and password to do this)
