We are running an ASA 5545 and twice now we have had the device appear to revert itself back to a former running config. This manifests itself by a bunch of the anyconnect packages disappearing from the flash drive as well as the configuration reverting back to a previous state that references earlier versions of those packages. Once this happens connections to the VPN cannot be made since the software clients are running doesn't match the version specified by the ASA. The second time we had the problem the ASDM image was also removed, so that we had to restore the newer version of the image (and change the configuration to match) before we could connect to the ASDM again.
Has anyone else seen symptoms like this before? No one was editing configuration or making any changes over the weekend when this happened.
