SG500 not saving config after removing VLAN tags from ports

Hey there,

We use some SG500s here and I can't get them to work with our VLANs. We have some ports on our switch that are tagged with VLANs, but whenever I untag them using the GUI, I can see the changes being made when I telnet into the switch.

I then try saving the config and reloading the switch, but noticed the tagging isn't removed?

I did a quick search on this and found this is a common issue with these SG switches. The fix seems to be turning off Smart Ports.

Can anyone speak to this?

Currently if I go to Port Management>Smartport>Properties, it is set to Enable by Auto-Voice VLAN. Would setting this to Disable, completely turn off Smartport for all ports? There are only a handful of users in this office, so it wouldn't cause too much trouble if I made this change. I also have a full backup of the config.

Thanks!

And per port you can use : https://community.cisco.com/t5/switches-small-business/sg500x-cli-command-to-disable-quot-administrative-auto-smartport/m-p/2460497#M11865
