FPR2110 with ASA image after re-imaging to FTD

Hello All,

We have two Firepower 2110 appliances with the ASA code and I want to re-image the appliances with the FTD code 6.6 or 7 so my question is when I do the re-imaging and add them to the FMC do I need any type of licenses to configure them as HA or no need?

Thanks in advance,

@Ibrahim-Sharif 7.0.5 is the recommended version, but I might suggest going with 7.2.3.

High availability (HA) mode is part of the base license (which comes with the appliance), so you don't need to purchase an additional license.

Hello Rob,

Thank you for your reply and feedback, so if I registered the FMCv in the Smart account then I did add both FPR2110 appliances to the FMC I can configure the HA normally, and no need for any additional license, unless I need more features then I should purchase the license.

Thank you,

Ibrahim
