Aironet1830にMobility Express

Aironet1830にMobility Expressを導入してブラウザからWLCの画面を確認することが出来ましたが、

Mobility Expressを設定した機器自身をAPとして発見することが出来ません。

APをMobility Expressにしても、電波を発する機能はあり、WLC兼APのように

なるかと思っていましたが異なるのでしょうか?

またMobility Express導入後にCiscoAirProvisionのSSIDが見えるようになるとの

ことですが、電波を吹かず、CLIで設定を行いました。

またLEDランプは緑→赤→橙を繰り返しています。

Aironetが1台のみでMobility Expressの場合だと、
初期セットアップ後に自分自身の仮想ControllerにJoinするような挙動になります。
WLCの画面を見れてるとの事なので、その初期セットアップの箇所までは出来てると思います。

Country Code を J2 にしてると自身にJoinできないパターンは過去に経験したことがあるので、
もし J2 を選んでいるなら、まずは J4 でJoinできるか試してみるのが良いかと思います。

また、Join出来ていない時のログや、バージョン情報などもあると
他の方からもコメントを貰いやすくなるかと思います。
Mobility ExpressのAPだと中古で買ってる方も見かけるので。

LED の光り方からして、Join していないということでしょうね。HW としては同一の筐体内部の話なのですが、内蔵コントローラーと内蔵 AP の間で IP で CAPWAP を使った通信を行って集中管理することになります。そのためにはまずアドレスを取得する必要がありますが、DHCP を利用されていますか?DHCP の場合は外部 DHCP サーバを使うほか、CME の内部 DHCP サーバを使うこともできます。Static で行く場合は(あまり推奨できませんが)、内蔵コントローラーと AP、それぞれに異なるアドレス(かつ、同一サブネット)を設定してやる必要があり、シリアルコンソールケーブル接続などが必要になる可能性があります。

多くの手順や注意点はこのドキュメントで解決すると思いますので、ご参照ください。

ご指摘どおり、MobilityExpressにはIP設定して、AP側にDHCPでIP設定が出来ていませんでした。

Mobility管理画面からAPを確認することが出来ましたがもう一つ不可解に事象があります。

2.4Ghzは電波を発しているのですが、5GHzが電波を発していません。

設定ファイルを取得しましたので、以下に貼り付けます。おかしな点があればご教授いただければ幸いです。

こんにちは。まずは AP Join 問題が解決したようで良かったです。やはり DHCP でしたか。

5GHzが出ていないとのことですが、クライアント上のSSID一覧に表示されないような状況でしょうか。いただいた設定一覧よりも show run-config コマンドの出力の方がよりわかりやすいかと思いますが、取得して貼っていただければ原因が見つかるかもしれません。また、Wireless  Config Analyzer Express なども問題を発見するのに有効ですのでご活用ください。

SSIDは仮でtest-ssidにしており、2.5GHzは停止しています、5GHzは止めてないですが、

端末からSSIDが見えない状態です。MobilityExpressのモニタリングからは電波を発しているように見えるのですが?
