The "username" field is required error when importing .csv

i am having this error when i import a .csv but it does have the username field…

This can occur if the CSV file is not encoded properly or if metadata from Excel is carried over. Please see Knowledge Base | Duo Security.

I was able to import your example user (copying it as shown) with no issues. You might try pasting the user(s) into our sample CSV template, save it, and then try to upload.
