Is Universal Prompt needed for Windows only Authentication

We are only using DUO for Windows login at this time. Is Universal Prompt required for this and if so what is the update path for the PC’s?

Duo Authentication for Windows Logon does not use the web-hosted Duo traditional prompt in an iframe and therefore is not affected by the Duo traditional prompt end of life.

It also does not use the web-hosted Universal Prompt either.
