DuoAuthProxy installing the Proxy Manager despite the exclusion

Hi all,

I’m trying to automate the AuthProxy installation. I read in the docs that the cmd for silent install w/o the Proxy Manager is:

duoauthproxy-version.exe /S /exclude-auth-proxy-manager

The problem is that the proxy manager installs despite running this cmd. Even tested on multiple machines.
I also tried (like in the DuoWinLogon) to use the /V switch to pass it as an argument:

duoauthproxy-version.exe /S /V" /exclude-auth-proxy-manager"

and

duoauthproxy-version.exe /S /V" exclude-auth-proxy-manager"

But none of them worked. Any help?

Thanks

Looks like there’s a bug in the CLI installer. We’ve noted it for fix in a future release. For now, if you want to exclude the Proxy Manager from the install, use the checkbox in the GUI installer.

Thanks for your question. Double-checking the syntax and will report back.

Note that Duo Authentication for Windows and the Duo Authentication Proxy use different installer technology so a straight swap of install flags likely wouldn’t work.
