Additional DUO Authentication Proxies (DAPs)

Hi!

As per subject, I was merely wondering if the same process of installing a DAP can be followed for any additional DAPs? Merely including them all in the respective config files under ad_client, and, since we are using LDAPS, also using the [authproxy_passwd.exe] tool on each one seperately?

I’ve been perusing a few including…
https://help.duo.com/s/article/authentication-proxy-availability?language=en_US
https://help.duo.com/s/article/3618?language=en_US
https://help.duo.com/s/article/6321?language=en_US

Thanks for helping!

Hey @fnanfne,

For the most part, that’s it!

One thing to keep in mind though is that individual Authentication Proxy servers are not aware of each other, so you will need to either 1) configure your RADIUS/LDAP client application to round-robin/failover between servers or 2) configure your own load balancer.

Hope this helps!
